  My son and his wife eat here often so when I came into town to visit over the holidays I treated my out of town friend to lunch. We arrived and were seated immediately. We each ordered a different lunch special. Being Italian and having made my own pasta over the years I never order pasta dishes but decided to try their Penne 'Cardinale'. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the temperature was piping hot just the way I like my food.
  
  I was surprised by the large serving size and both my friend and I took half of our meals home. The specials come with your choice of soups, a variety of main dishes and your choice of desserts along with a basket of tasty bread and butter all for only $15. Our waiter was professional, attentive yet unobtrusive and each course came out in a timely fashion.
  
  Tavola is tastefully decorated with a quiet ambiance and I will definitely return the next time I am in town. I very much appreciated the positive experience and the high quality of food that they serve at Tavola.
